Pakistan make a unique record in World Cup

BRISBANE: Pakistan cricket team have made a new record in the World Cup by scoring 33 runs in first 15 overs of the game. This record achieved by the Green-Shirts against Zimbabwe in match 23 of the tournament. This is the lowest score in the World Cup by a team in 15 overs. Pakistan who lost couple of wickets early in the inning and then all thing stared to slow down in the match. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and Haris Sohail are on the mission to save the wicket and score runs but this process is going quite slow which earned them that record. Sonam’s swine flu test comes positive

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor was tested H1N1 virus positive after she was admitted into Sterling Hospital on 150 ft Ring Road in Rajkot, local media reported. PPP, MQM candidates get elected in Senate unopposed

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidates on Saturday have been elected unopposed in Senate on at least two women seats and two seats of technocrats, local media reported. BRISBANE: Skipper of Pakistan cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq said that they will bat chose to bat if Green-Shirts would win toss against Zimbabwe. Ahmed Shehzad suffers heel injury

BRISBANE: Ahmed Shehzad has suffered a heel injury during the practice session, local media reported on Friday. Ahmed Shehzad has injured in left heel which cause swelling. The team management immediately took him to the local hospital where his Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test was held. OGRA proposes Rs 5.59 increase in petrol price from 1st March  

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a summary to the Finance Ministry on Thursday, seeking raise in the prices of petroleum products.   According to sources, OGRA has recommended an increase of Rs5.59 per litre in the price of petrol, Rs12.62 per litre in the price of High Octane Blending Component (HOBC) and Rs7.62 per litre in kerosene. An increase of Rs 5 in the price of light speed diesel and decrease of Rs 5.49 in the price of High Speed diesel is expected.
