Cyber Security: Wiki-Leaks Published Sony’s Documents !!

Wiki Leaks has published million of emails and documents of Sony Pictures Entertainment that were stolen in a cyber attack last year.

These documents apparently include communication of the company with British Prime Minister and Hollywood dignitaries.

Sony severely condemned publication of their documents from Wiki Leaks.

The company said in a statement: “We absolutely do not agree with this assertion of Wiki-leaks that it is part of the public domain.”

Wiki-Leaks has Revealed 70 million emails and more than 20 thousand documents.

Wiki-leaks founder Julian defended their Sony- publication of documents by saying that this indicate how a multinational company works and how it became a part of ‘geopolitical’ conflict.

November 24 of last year hackers stole sensitive information from the computers of Sony Company, and it was not possible to find them easily on the Internet.

It cyber attack happened when Sony was about to release controversial film, “The interview” about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Hackers who attacked Sony Pictures cinema houses warned not to release this film. Sony didn’t release the file after this warning. However, after Christmas it was released at some selected cinemas and the Internet.

North Korea denied any involvement in the attack, but declared it to be a “right step ‘.

In this context, however, new restrictions were imposed on North Korea in January this year,

US think that North Korean took revenge from Sony picture to make a film about the murder of their leader Kim Jong Un.

President Obama has recently ordered the establishment of a program to help the US government in restricting foreign hackers.
