5.2-magnitude earthquake hits Karachi, Balochistan

KARACHI: Moderate earthquake have been recorded on Monday (today) in Karachi, the coastal city of Pakistan, its suburb areas and some parts of Balochistan.

Earth quake of 5.2 magnitude on Richter Scale jolts some parts of Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan, according to Met Department.

The local met department said that the epicenter of the quake was 137 km distant from north-West area of Karachi while its depth was 50 km inside the land.
