KARACHI: Commenting over victory in by-election, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief said that public defeated their opponents by hand over success to MQM.

Speaking from London by phone to party workers and supporters, MQM chief said that the Allah Almighty’s court has washed out allegations over his party made by opponents.

Altaf Hussain stated that truth and lies has been classified after successfulness of MQM’s candidates in by-election as public shows confidence on the party.

It is pertinent to note, MQM emerged as the largest mandate holding political party in Karachi, the metropolitan city of Pakistan, according to the results of May 11 general election, while it is the second largest elected party of Sindh province after Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Moreover, political opponents alleged that allegation on MQM over worst vote rigging in several parts of the city during the general election while several parties boycotted the electoral process except Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI).
