Washington: US carrier Amazon is offering Verizon Nokia Lumia 928 for a penny.
Verizon is currently charging $99.99 for Nokia Lumia 928, but Amazon is giving the same device on contract.
Even before Nokia started using Windows Phone as its exclusive smartphone platform of choice, the company had a strong reputation for the quality of the cameras and imaging software it used in its handsets.
Nokia’s move to Windows Phone has allowed for even better camera hardware coupled with an OS that has allowed the company to create exclusive imaging software to run on its Lumia smartphones.
The Nokia Lumia 928 features a 4.5-inch 1280 x 768 PureMotion HD ClearBlack OLED Gorilla Glass display with a pixel density of 332 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone runs Windows Phone 8 and can be updated OTA to GDR3 + Lumia Amber update. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM to provide a snappy user experience and includes 32GB of internal storage.
Its camera capabilities include an 8.7-megapixel rear camera, Xenon flash, back-illuminated sensor (BSI), auto focus, optical image stabilization (OIS), and the ability to record 1080p HD video @30fps, and a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera for self-shots and video chat. In terms of wireless connectivity you’ll find a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. Nokia has packed in a non-removable 2,000 mAh battery that provides up to 16 hours of talk time and 25 days of standby time.
