Brittany Murphy was poisoned, new evidence suggest the possibility. Her test contains high level of metals, same as found in rat poison.
She died at the age of 32 in 2009 and God knows what it was like for Hollywood. The news was received with sadness and shock across the industry.
She just collapsed in her home after complaining about flu like symptoms. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s official statement claimed it an accidental death, adding that it was preventable.
Unfortunately just after five months of her death, Simon Monjack, Murphy’s husband also died.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Angelo Bertolotti, father of the actress, filed a case against The Los Angeles County Coroner office to do some toxicology tests but his request was declined. However, Bertolotti sent a strand of hair, blood and tissue sample of late actress to the Carlson Company (Colorado) for tests, reported the Huffington Post.
Bertolotti sent a mail to The Huffington Post, stating the results of the tests. It said, “Ten heavy metals were found in abnormally high quantities… These types of heavy metals/toxic elements are commonly found in rat poison, pesticides, insecticides, etc… they may have been introduced by a third party with criminal intent.”
But wait a second, no reports have been confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner office. Chief Coroner Investigator Craig R. Harvey said in a statement to The Huffington Post, “We have not been presented any [third] party lab test results for analysis, so we are unable to comment on publicized reports on private lab tests.”
An American film and stage actress, singer and voice artist, Brittany Murphy was the native of Atlanta. In her teenage, she moved to LA to pursue a career in Hollywood.
