Correction: American carmaking

August 16, 2013 at 3:24 am | News Desk

In “Let’s go German“, our article on American carmaking on August 3rd, we should have said that GM’s labour costs including pensions are now around $59 (not $78) an hour per worker, compared with about $40 (not $53) at some foreign-owned plants. Our piece in the same issue on “Sin-free ale” misspelled the name of Aujan, a brewer. And last week’s article on cyber-crime, “Firewalls and firefights“, misspelled the name of CloudFlare, a technology start-up. Sorry. These have all been corrected online.
