Karachi operation? PML-N leader among 4 killed in violence

KARACHI: Despite ongoing targeted operation in the metropolis, miscreants carried out violent attacks on the citizen which resulted killing of local leader while other 4 lost their lives in different incidents on Thursday.

Incidents continue unabated despite ongoing targeted operation in the troubled metropolis. The local leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Abdul Hameed, was gunned down in Korangi’s Khaddi Market area.

According to police, Abdul Hameed was on the way to submit his election forms when unidentified gunmen attacked him.

Separately, a body was found near Landhi Manzil Puml. The deceased has been identified as Waseem.

In Nazimabad, a person identified as Noor Khan Ghazi was shot dead near a petrol pump.

Another person identified as Rafiq was killed in shooting incident in Ibrahim Haideri area.

On the other hand, police conducted raids in North Karachi’s industrial area and arrested six suspected criminals. The suspects have confessed to killing of two policemen near Nagan Chowrangi.
