ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) senior Minister and leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Siraj-ul-Haq strongly demanded US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chief’s arrestment in Islamabad over alleged involvement in Hangu drone strike.
Addressing students’ convention of the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) held in Islamabad on Thursday, Sirajul Haq said that the US CIA chief has been nominated in the case and he would give the confessional statement about all the drone attacks in three-day police remand.
He threatened that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would march towards Islamabad on the non-stoppage of the NATO supply by the government as a protest against the US drone attacks.
He warned that the coming days would bring problems for the federal government if the federal government did not pay heed towards the sentiments of the people.
He demanded of the government to immediately block the NATO supply, saying that there would be sit-ins in front of the parliament house and the US embassy in the next phase.
He said that arms of the US and the allied forces were used against the Muslims and the supply would not be tolerated any more.
He said that Prime Minister, who occasionally comes to Pakistan, is informed that the US drone attack on the Madrasa at Tul in Hangu was the attack on the federal capital, Islamabad, saying that US attacked 180 million people.
He said that as to why the federal government got votes from the masses in the elections if it was to follow the same course of action. He further said that the people are being compelled to take to the roads.
He warned that the system can be paralyzed for stopping the NATO supply throughout the country. He urged on the uniform educational system in the country, saying that one educational system and one language guarantees the integrity and security of the nation and the country.
He said that nation was hoping that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would bring back Dr Aafia Siddiqui upon his return from his visit to US but he returned to Pakistan empty-handed.
He said that major problem of the country is leadership of the jackals not the tigers. He said that rights are not being given to the people which are being given to animals abroad.
Sirajul Haq said that the government is warned that marches and sit-ins against the NATO supply would be staged everywhere.
He asked the new Chief of Army staff; General Raheel to get rid the country from the US slavery and clutch. He said that the nation would not be content with the change of faces, saying that the nation would be content with the reviewing of the policies.
He said that students are ready throughout the country from Karachi to Khyber for performing their role for blocking the NATO supply.
