Minnesota Vikings cornerback A.J. Jefferson has been arrested for felony domestic violence this morning.

He allegedly strangled his girlfriend. Following the arrest, the Minnesota Vikings also kicked him off the team; he was part of the league since 2010.

Eden Prairie reported in a police station that his boyfriend A.J. Jefferson has abused her. He informed the police that she has been choked by Jefferson during a fight.

In response to Prairie’s request, cops went to the house of Jefferson and arrested him. He was cooperative with the police and did not show any kind of resistance.

Minnesota Vikings also released him after few hours of arrest. Jefferson was already struggling in this season.
