PESHAWAR: Following reports of barring women to cast votes, Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court has stopped results on national assembly constituencies of NA-5 Nowshera and NA-27 Laki Marwat.
“Unless the female voters are not allowed to cast vote in the respective seats, results would be on hold,” Justice Dost Muhammad said.
He has also ordered of Jirga members who have asked women to be in their houses and to avoid casting vote.
