PML-N minister warns PTI Imran Khan about KPK

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Federal Minister of  Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has warned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, said that some other province could stage sit-in in the PTI-led province.

Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that tomorrow some other province could stage sit-in in province of Imran Khan, adding that Imran is trying to fly alone by fleeing from holding debate in parliament.

He alleged that Imran Khan is intended to go for spending winter holidays that is why he is staging sit-ins in hurried manner.

He said that the masses want no confrontation in politics of the country, adding that Imran is violating the code of ethics of politics.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Sunday after participation in book launching ceremony Parvez Rashid said unity among all the political forces is imperative to meet the challenges being faced by the country.

He said that political parties must avoid the politics of confrontation and play their role to maintain law and order in the country. He said the rallies are not the solution of the issues faced by the people of the country.

Information Minister said that the people had given vote in the general elections in the spirit that the Parliamentary leadership will work together to steer the country out of crisis.

He said the PML-N Government has acknowledged that spirit and it accepted the mandate given by the people to different political parties in different provinces.

The Minister said people want end of price hike‚ load shedding and terrorism. He said these goals can only be achieved when there is political stability. He said political parties should play their role in the Parliament. He said peace should prevail in the country to increase the confidence of domestic and foreign investors. He said if there is peace‚ there will be economic and industrial activities which will help end price hike.

Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan should do serious politics according to the aspirations of the general public. He said the rallies have negative impact on the investments as these   disrupt law and order situation.

He said by staging protests‚ PTI Chief breaching the Code of Conduct. He said there is also price hike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ he should also stage protest against price hike there.

The Minister said Imran Khan had claimed in the election campaign that he will eliminate corruption. The Minister questioned that how many cases he registered against the corrupt people. He also question that Imran Khan should tell the people that how much revenue he has increased in the province as compared to the previous government.

To a question regarding Chehlum procession in the back drown of Rawalpindi tragedy‚ the Minister said Punjab Government is in contact with Ulema and hoped that the procession will be peaceful.

To another question about changed statement of Younis Habib‚ Pervaiz Rashid said Younas Habis is a lair as he changed his statement over 150 times, adding that Habib says one thing in court and other thing in interviews.  He said the court had ordered investigations on the statement of Younis Habib. He said nothing was proved against Mian Nawaz Sharif in past in this case. He said nothing has proved true what he said. However‚ the Minister said we do not believe in revenge we only will set the record of the history right though investigations.

The minister further urged Imran Khan to stop raising funds from NATO countries.
