Seoul: Samsung after launching couple of devices on September 4, company announced that refreshed edition of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will challenge iPad 5.
Samsung introduced Note 10.1 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in February. The dvie was highly popular due to its unique edition of S pen.
The new Galaxy Note 10.1 packs in better hardware specifications and improved software features.

The new Galaxy Note sports a 10.1-inch WQXGA Super Clear LCD display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 299 pixels per inch (ppi). A quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz powers the tablet, paired with 3GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is available in 16/32/64 GB storage options, which can be extended to a further 64GB using a microSD card. The device is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel secondary one.
A powerful 8,220mAh battery powers the device. The Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system and features the much-touted S Pen, which brings in more features to the tablet.
The refreshed version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available in two color options: Jet Black and Classic White. The tablet will hit the shelves in Q3 2013; however, we will have to wait for Samsung to confirm the exact pricing of its latest tablet.
Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPad 5 soon and we will have to wait and see if the refreshed Galaxy Note 10.1 is able to throw the gauntlet to the upcoming Apple offering.
