Shahid Afridi terms political scenario a ‘nightmare’

HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka: Beloved cricket personality across Pakistan and renowned star all-rounder, Shahid Afridi, has finally opened his lips over serious political scenario of the country.


Boom Boom Afridi sent his opinion via Twitter message, says he suffers ‘nightmare’ when he watched the ongoing political ‘to and fro’ in Pakistan.

The 34-year-old cricketer is currently present in Sri Lanka for Tests and One Day International (ODI) matches but it seems Afridi had his concentration on the country’s politics as well besides career matches.

He further said that the situation is not favourable in the country’s interest, however, he expressed his wishes for the betterment of the country and Pakistni nation in his recent tweet.

It should be mentioned that the cricketer turned politician Imran Khan had directly called Shahid Afridi during his address in Islamabad. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said that Afridi should pay attention on the situation if he doesn’t then he will no more be a true Pakhtun.
