South Africa defeated green shirts in first T20 with 9 wickets

cricket-in-PakistanDUBAI: South Africa beat Pakistan by 9 wickets in first of two Twenty 20 (T20) played at Dubai International stadium.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, Green shirts have the horrible start as they loss top 4 batsmen for 21 runs.

Umar Akmal tried his level best to guide Green shirts towards a respectable total but only manage to add 49 runs while Shoaib Malik scored 12 runs. Pakistan made 98 runs on loss of 9 wickets.

South Africa in replay, reached the total comfortably on loss of wicket. Quinton de Kock made unbeaten 48 runs along with skipper Faf du Plessis’s 37 runs knock guide South Africa to a comfortable 9 wickets victory.

South Africa Lead 2 matches series 1-0.
