Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telenor Pakistan through which Telenor Pakistan will be able to consume PTCL’s back-haul infrastructure till 2020. This MoU will facilitate Telenor to avail PTCL’s vast network footprint and infrastructure spread nationwide for their rapidly growing 3G subscriber base. February 26, 2014, Staff Report ISLAMABAD: With an ambitious target to earn close to $ 2 billion, Pakistan will hold auction of two 4G, three 3G and one 2G licenses on April 7. The deadline for submission of applications is March 25. Pakistan on Tuesday launched the information memorandum (IM) for the spectrum auction of two 4G, three 3G and one 2G licenses in the 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 850 MHz bands respectively.
