Ex-army officers were behind sit-ins script: Javed Hashmi

ISLAMABAD: Senior politician, former president Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaf Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has claimed that some retire officers of Pak Army were behind the script of PTI’s sit-in at Islamabad, however serving military leadership was not involve in whole scenario.

During an interview with private TV channel Javed Hashmi said that Imran Khan during the marriage ceremony of Arif Alvi’s son had thanked MQM leadership for cooperation in Karachi’s gathering and during the sit-in it was said that MQM to join sit-ins. Jahangeer Tareen and Arif Alvi claimed that they have talked MQM leaders for participation in sit-ins.

Hashmi said that Imran Khan and Jahangeer Tareen have told him that at the end of script PPP leaders also cooperate with PTI and both leaders said that basic plane would be that PTI leaders would sit inside the Assembly to occupy and Nawaz government would go to home.

Javed Hashmi said that Imran Khan had talked about ex ISI chief General Ahmed Shuja Pasha during discussion over various issues. Former ISI chief general retired Hameed Gull in Multan said that tonight would be the last night of Nawaz government.

I have no contact with Nawaz Sharif or any other leader of ruling party (PML-N), however he admitted that Imran has given him more honour than Nawaz
