‘Suicide’ blast outside Imam Bargah kills 3 in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A bomb explosion killed three people including a policeman and wounded 14 others outside a Imam Bargah in the city Rawalpindi on Tuesday officials said. The blast took place in the Gracy Lines neighbourhood of the city of Rawalpindi, as worshippers prayed inside the Imam Bargah, senior police official Akhtar Laleka said. Some official sources said that the blast was a suicide attack, adding that the bomber exploded himself when security forces tried to stop him from entering the premises of the Imam Bargah. Mumbai court orders Adnan Sami to vacate house

MUMBAI: Singer Adnan Sami will have to move out of his residence at Andheri, where he is staying with his third wife. The Bombay High Court on Monday ordered the Pakistani singer to move out of the flats and hand those over to his ex-wife Sabah Galadari. A division bench of Justice AS Oka and Justice SC Gupte struck down an order of a single judge, and upheld an earlier family court order of 2010 which had granted Galadari the use of the disputed flats. However, it modified the family court’s order by forbidding Sami or his family members from using the flats. The family court order had not debarred Sami. Pakistan’s CNG sector kicks off ‘peaceful’ protest movement

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sector on Monday kicked-off a “peaceful protest” movement against the “illegal” closer of the gas.
