Major changes expected in Pakistan squad for Bangladesh

LAHORE: As Pakistan are all set for Bangladesh tour, Green shirts are expected to have major changes in the squad which was announced for World Cup.

The Green-shirts who doesn’t have the great World Cup runs especially for the batsmen who failed tribally despite batting wickets.

Now the side is expected to have major changes with almost half members of the squad would be out for Bangladesh tour.

First up, former skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and all-rounder Shahid Afridi who took retirement following the World Cup will not be part of the team.

On the other hand out of form Younis Khan, Umar Akmal, Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmed Shehzad and Nasir Jamshed would not be part of the team for Bangladesh tour.

However Mohammad Irfan will also miss the tour due to hip injury.

For the replacement, Pakistan cricket Board selection committee is most likely to include Baber Azam, Sami Aslamm, Junaid Khan , Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez in the side.

Fawad Alam and Asad Shafriq are also expected to make a comeback in the side as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) already selected Azhar Ali as the skipper of One Day Internationals (ODI).
