MALAKAND – Election Commission has taken strict security measures for the by-polls here in Lower Dir on Thursday.
The seat of PK-95 fell vacant after the nomination of JI Ameer as the senator.
Neck to neck contest is expected to be between JI and Awami National Party.
The election will continue till 5pm without any break, and more than 140,000 registered voters to cast votes in today.
JI candidate for the election is Aizaz Ul Mulk, while the candidate for ANP is Bahadur Khan.
Today is public holiday in the Lower Dir Distritc for the peaceful conduction of election.
