KARACHI – The Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Fahmida Mirza, said on Friday that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) make me speaker because I was the most deserving one for the post.
While talking to one of the private channels she said that PPP wanted me to return their kindness of making me speaker in the form of not supporting my husband.
She said that all the cases registered against Zulfiqar Mirza are fake, and are influenced by the personal rage.
She said that it is not the delicacy of PPP, but my own capabilities which forced them to me speaker of National Assembly.
She said that my husband is facing the threats and cases just because of speaking the truth.
She said that thing would be clear in the court and to the people of Pakistan one day that Zulfiqar Mirza was the brave one to speak the truth at the crucial time.
On the other hand, PPP leadership is thinking to dismiss Fahmida Mirza and her son from the party once and for all.
