Islamabad( Press Release) Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said that Pakistan-China Relation is based upon mutual goal of regional development and prosperity of masses. He said that Pakistan can learn from their Chinese brethrens that how they empower their challenges as they are leading their people on the path of progress and development. He said that Chinese policies are humane and friendly in the region based upon mutual principles of co-existence and tolerance. He expressed these views during his meeting with Chinese Ambassador in Paksitan Mr.Nong Rong who called on him in Parliament House today.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri said Gawadar port is an important project of CPEC and in order to take full benefits from this project, the inclusion of local people and provision of basic amenities are imperative. He said that CPEC would bring socio-economic welfare in the region. He said that China and Pakistan both countries are tied in the strong bond of mutual trade, shared interest and the same outlook on the issues faced by world. He also said that Quetta is capital of the Balochistan Province and there is need of establishing a technical institute as a symbol of Pak-China friendship.
Chinese Ambassador in Paksitan Mr.Nong Rong said that china values high its ties with Pakistan. He said Gawadar would be the model the city the province and the work on provision of basic amenities like fresh drinking water, street lights, and carpeting of streets is on full swing. He also said that china is already conducting the basic course for learning Chinese language to Youth and assured that technical institute would be established in Quetta.
