Court Ordered Najam Sethi To Leave The Room

ISLAMABAD – The Judicial Commission carrying out the investigations relating to election rigging case ordered Najam Sethi to leave the court room.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyer Hafeez Pirzada requested the court to allow the presence of one witness at a time in the court room for recording the statements.

When the Former Secretary Punjab Javaid Iqbal was present in the room to record his statement pertaining to the electoral rigging, Najam sethi was also standing next to him.

Upon the request of Hafeez Pirzada, the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk ordered Sethi to leave the court room.

The Chief Justice also said that the court had not called Najam Sethi and that he had appeared on his own.

Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk allowed the presence of only one witness at a time in the court room, ordering Sethi and the rest of the people to leave the court room.
