The beloved dad on “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, James Avery has expired at the age of 65.
He was in a hospital in Los Angeles last night. He recently had open heart surgery, but something went wrong during the operation and he died due to the complications from the operation.
His wife Barbara was with him in hospital, she went away for some time and when she returned to him, James was long gone into the eternal world.
Alfons Ribeiro, James’s son in the show “Fresh Prince”, confirmed his death by posting a message on his official Facebook page.
He said, “the world has lost truly special man. I am very saddened to say that James Avery has passed. Even though he played father to me on TV, he was a wonderful father figure to me in life. He will be deeply missed”
