Golfer Rory Mcllroy and Tennis Player Caroline Wozniacki are officially engaged. The news was broken by both of them on their respective Twitter accounts on New Year’s night.
Rory tweeted, “Happy New Year everyone! I have a feeling it’s going to be a great year!! My first victory of 2014 #shesaidyes!!”
And Caroline tweeted, “Happy New Year everyone! Rory and I started 2014 with a bang! … I said YES!!!!”
They got engaged in Sydney on Tuesday night and posted a few pictures including fireworks over the harbor, Caroline’s engagement ring and their cute picture together.
“Rory McIlroy, MBE is a Northern Irish professional golfer from Holywood in County Down who is a member of both the European and PGA Tours. He is a former World Number One and a two-time major champion.”
“Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish professional tennis player. She is a former World No. 1 on the WTA Tour. As of 23 January 2012, she held this position for 67 weeks.”
