NEW DELHI: Indian authorities have sent notice to close Pakistan national carrier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), office situated in New Delhi, sources said on Sunday.
PIA sources revealed that India has sent notice for office closure in New Delhi alleging the official land was ‘illegal’. India started campaign to end Indo-Pak flight operations amid political tensions between both countries, sources added.
Pakistan High Commission sources said that India wanted to suspend all flight operation due to uprising of political rifts between the neighbouring countries.
Moreover, PIA office staff is also being harassed by the Indian agencies followed by office closure notice despite the fact that the case is under process in an Indian court.
Moreover, India has refused to extend visas of the staff members which clearly signalling the PIA officials to leave the country.
