ISLAMABAD: The commission has directed 13 witnesses to appear on Wednesday.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has provided list of witnesses to the General Elections 2013 Inquiry Commission to summon them and record their statements. PTI will produce its own witnesses on Tuesday at 11:30 am.
The list of witnesses produced by PTI before inquiry commission include Mr. Nabeel Gabol (Ex.MNA), Mr. Najam Sethi, ( Former Caretaker Chief Minister of the Punjab), Mr. Javed Iqbal (Former Chief Secretary to the Former Caretaker Government of the Punjab). Mr. Rao Iftikhar (Former Additional Chief Secretary to the Former Caretaker Government of the Punjab), Mr. Hamid Mir (Anchor person GEO News), Provincial Election Commissioner (Punjab) during the 2013 Elections, Managing Director (who held office at the time of acquisition and printing of ballot papers for the 2013 General Elections) of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan Press (“PCPP”) at Karachi, Managing Director (who held office at the time of acquisition and printing of ballot papers for the 2013 General Elections) of PCPP at Lahore, Managing Director (who held office at the time of acquisition and printing of ballot papers for the 2013 General Elections) of the PCPP at Islamabad, Managing Director of Pakistan Security Printing Corporation Karachi (who held office at the time of acquisition and printing of ballot papers for the 2013 General Elections), Managing Director of Postal Foundation Press at Islamabad (who held office at the time of printing of ballot papers for the 2013 General Elections), Provincial Election Commissioner (Sindh) during the 2013 Elections
Mr. Muddassir Rizvi Head of Programs TDEA-FAFEN (Free and Fair Election Network), and other relevant officers and representatives of FAFEN, Mr. Usman Yousaf Mobeen Chairman National Database & Registration Authority Government of Pakistan.
The Commission has directed the above persons to appear before the Commission on 06.05.2015 at 1.00 p.m. in the Supreme Court Building, Islamabad. Notices to the individuals with details are also being issued.
