KPK govt approves 10-storey emergency centre, helicopter for patients

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided to establish a 10-storey emergency center and to purchase special helicopter for providing relief to the people in case of any natural disaster.

KPK government has made a significant move in natural disaster management by initiating work on construction of modern style 10-storey emergency center and purchasing of rescue helicopter for rapid action force.

Finance Minister in KPK government Siraj-ul-Haq has confirmed establishment of the project approved for natural disaster management.

Siraj-ul-Haq added the details of the project that emergency center will be established in Khyber Teaching Hospital while helicopter will be handed over to the hospital administration in coming few months.

The finance minister said that modern equipment will be installed in the emergency center and special training will be provided to the special rescue teams for specialising in facilitating the victims of natural disasters.

Moreover, KPK govt also initiated first of its kind mobile court which will keep moving in different parts of the province to provide justice at the doorsteps of the citizens by hearing their cases and giving instant decisions for the resolution of the disputes.
