KATMANDU – According to the Red Cross report issued on Friday, death toll in Nepal has climbed up to 8000 and as many as 17,576 still injured and other 260 missing in a 7.9 magnitude quake.

About 150 aftershocks measuring around 4 on Richter scale have been observed in Nepal after April 25.

The death toll has been increasing due to the severe injuries inflicted to the people in the deadly quake.

The rescue teams are still in search of those missing in the debris and remains of the collapsed buildings in Katmandu.

More than 250 people are still missing, but there are negligible chances of their life, and rescue teams are only searching the bodies of those buried under tons of debris.

A 4-magnitude tremor was felt at 2.19 am on Friday morning with the epicentre at Sindhupalchowk district, according to National Seismological Centre.

Many countries help Nepal in their tense time including Pakistan, which send tents, medicines and eatables etc.

The seismological center anticipated more aftershocks to come in Nepal in coming days as the land needs to come to its original position which was shaken by the devastating quake on April 25.
