Nine killed as unknown assailants attack house in Peshawar

Peshawar: Nine people were killed in an attacks on members of Aman Committee by unknown men in Peshawar’s suburbs here on Wednesday.

According to reports, the incident took place in Budhbher, where unknown assailants entered houses of Mukhtiar and Israr, peace committee members, and launched the attack by opening fire and with hand grenades.

According to SSP Operation, the attack happened in around 4 or 5am in which nine people have been killed including women and children.

The police said that over 20 men entered into a Hujra and attacked with hand grenades and opened firing on them.

The police further said that Mukhtiar and Israr were receiving death threats from terrorists as they already killed Israr’s brother last week.
