Karachi: As many as nine policemen have been killed while 40 others injured in a blast occurred outside a police bus in a training center situated in Shah Latif Town of Razzakabad area of Karachi here on Thursday Morning.
According to details, rangers, police and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs)reached the spot and cordoned off the area for investigation.
Rescue teams also reached the scene and shifted the injured and death bodies to hospital.
SSP Malir Rao Anwaar said that the blast could be a suicide blast while investigation underway regarding this.
He said that team of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has been called to check the area.
According to police, more than 50 commandos were on the to pay the duties at Bilawal House.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) also called to reach the spot to help other LEAs regarding investigation.
