None arrested for Imran Farooq’s murder: Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Rehman Malik has said that he has no knowledge of two men arrested for their alleged role in the murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq.

Mr. Malik also called for an investigation into arrest of  M.Kashif Khan and Syed Mohsin Ali , the two suspects of Imran Farooq’s murder case besides condemning what he called “media trial” of MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

Speaking to reporters outside the parliament house on Monday, he said that the TTP was a banned outfit and no talks should be held with them. A repetition of his party (Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ) stance .

The PPP stalwart  termed talks with Taliban as unconstitutional but congratulated the government on its efforts for peace.
