Shahid Afridi says no to South African league ‘Ram Slam’

Karachi: The South African Twenty 20 league ‘Ram Slam’ is going to be started from January 5, in which 6 teams are participating in the tournament.

The tournament presented by International Cricket Council (ICC). In which some Pakistani players are playing the league.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi also agreed to play the tournament, but later on declined to play to give some time to his family.

Afridi agreed to join the tournament along with Saeed Ajmal and Sohail Tanveer.

Saeed Ajmal would play for the Chevrolet Knights while Sohail Tanveer has joined the Highveld Lions squad.

The first league game will be played between Chevrolet Knights and Cape Cobras on January 5 at Newlands.
