SSP Malir Transferred For Misusing Authority

KARACHI – Inspector General Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali transfers SSP Malir Rao Anwaar for misusing his authority according to the police spokesperson on Friday.

SSP East Peer Muhammad Shah has taken additional charge as a substitute to Rao Anwar for the time being.

The police spokesperson said that CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah took notice of SSP’s press conference after which the IG issued orders for the transfer of SSP Malir. Rao Anwaar had leveled serious allegations against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

The SSP had claimed that the MQM has links with Indian spy agency RAW, and that the party sent workers to India to get them trained by RAW and eventually use that training to spread terror in Pakistan.

“The MQM is a terrorist outfit in guise of a political party and should be banned,” the SSP said in a press conference one day earlier.

Qaim Ali Shah has directed the Sindh IG to inquire into the matter and submit a report within 24 hours.
