Sushmita Sen joins Bollywood’s ‘late comers’ club

MUMBAI: Former Miss Universe and renowned actress of Indian film industry, Sushmita Sen, has recently joined the club of Bollywood’s ‘late comers’ like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), Saif Ali Khan and Govinda as reportedly arrived 1.5 hours late in a book launching ceremony.

Sushmita Sen experienced the journalists boycott over her late arrival in the book launch of Shraddha Soni‘s book I Am Life in Mumbai as the scheduled time was 5:30pm but she reached at 7:00 pm, according to reports.

However, she inaugurated the book launching ceremony ‘I Am Life’ without the presence of media.

Sen is not alone in the club as various Bollywood’s legends have already present in the late comers’ list including Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), Salman Khan and Govinda.

SRK had also faced media boycott when he arrived at least 3 hours late in a promotion event of his blockbuster of the time ‘Ra One’.

Afterwards, SRK expressed his regrets over coming late and vowed to join their events on time.

3-Salman-Khan

Salman Khan had recorded quiet inflammatory remarks over being criticized by the media persons on coming late in his movie’s promotion event.

Despite apologising, Dabangg Khkan said that if he came late in the event then who said to wait and he has not forced anyone to wait.

4-Govinda

The Bollywood’s ‘late comers’ club’ is almost incomplete without mentioning its prominent member Govinda when he was on the peak of fame in 1990s.

Govinda’s is famous for coming late on various movies’ sets including ‘Hum’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ where even Bollywood’s legend Amitabh Bachchan waited for his arrival for such a long time.
