The Ashes 3rd test Day 2 stumps: England made 48 for 2 against Australia

Manchester: England made 48 runs on loss of 2 wickets against Australia in the 3rd Ashes test played at Old Trafford.

England In replay to 527 loss two wickets on 49 runs. Alastair Cook along with Jonathan Trott is still out there on the crease.

Peter Siddle took two wickets for Australia.

Earlier Australia start the day with is 7 wickets in hand. Steven Smith after making 89 loss his wicket at the total of 343 runs. David Warner was the 4th victim of Graeme Swann.

Australia skipper Michael Clarke scored a brilliant hundred with Steven Smith, Chris Roger and Brad Haddin scoring half centuries to guide Aussies to a massive total of 527 on loss of 7 wickets.

Graeme Swann pick up 5 wickets with Tim Bresnan and Stuart Broad took one wicket each for England.
