NA Speaker and Deputy Speaker extend felicitation to Syed Ali Musa Gillani for his unopposed election as President YPF
Islamabad: 8th November 2022: Islamabad (PR) Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) of National Assembly of Pakistan elected MNA Syed Ali Musa Gillani as its unopposed President. The election for President YPF was held after approval of Patron- in -Chief of YPF National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf and fulfilling codal formalities. The election process was chaired by Additional Secretary Legislation Mr.Mushtaq Ahmed and Additional Secretary ( Special Initiative/PMU ) Syed Shamoon Hashmi also briefed the members about composition of YPF and Election procedure.
While addressing the meeting of YPF after his election as President, YPF Syed Ali Musa Gillani said that legislation is the key area where YPF members need to focus. He also said that it is obligation of Members Parliament to legislate for protection of basic rights of common people. He a thanked the members of YPF for reposing their confidence on him. He appreciated the staff of National Assembly Secretariat and PMU for arranging this Election successfully.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Perve Ashraf and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Mr.Zahid Akram Durrani extended felicitation to MNA Syed Ali Musa Gillani on his election as President YPF. In thier Separate messages, they expressed the believe that MNA Syed Ali Musa Gillani would transform YPF into a proactive forum. They also said that Youth is the most important segment of the society and this forum can effectively address the challanges faced by Youth in Pakistan.
Later on , YPF members also congratulated to Syed Ali Musa Gallani on his election as President YPF. They also expressed their hope that Syed Ali Musa Gillani would make YPF more proactive and functional. The meeting of YPF was attended Senator Mr. Umur Farooq, MNAs Ms.Javeria Zafar, Mr. Naveed Amir Jiva, Ms.Romina Khursheed Alam, Ms.Aliya Kamran, Syed Rafi Ullah and Muhammad Khan Daha.
