Polling For By-election Lower Dir Underway

MALAKAND – Election Commission has taken strict security measures for the by-polls here in Lower Dir on Thursday. The seat of PK-95 fell vacant after the nomination of JI Ameer as the senator. Neck to neck contest is expected to be between JI and Awami National Party. The election will continue till 5pm without any break, and more than 140,000 registered voters to cast votes in today. JI candidate for the election is Aizaz Ul Mulk, while the candidate for ANP is Bahadur Khan. Today is public holiday in the Lower Dir Distritc for the peaceful conduction of election. Security Team Of Zimbabwe To Visit Pakistan Today

LAHORE – The sources told The News Tribe that security team of Zimbabwe Cricket Team will visit Pakistan to over view high security measures installed by Pakistan authorities for Zimbabwe’s tour to Pakistan on Wednesday. PESHAWAR – The Peshawar Police has decided to take action against the land mafia within next week.
