DHAKA: As many as 24 people were dead while 22 people sustained injuries when a passenger bus hit trees and plunged into a ditch in southwestern Bangladesh. According to reports, the accident took place early Thursday in the Bhanga area of Faridpur district when the bus was travelling from Dhaka to the southern district of Barisal. Rescue teams rushed the spot and shifted the injured and the bodies to nearby hospitals. The cause of the accident wasn’t clear yet but passengers said the driver apparently lost control. It was not known yet if the driver was among the dead. ISLAMABAD: Two more death row convicts were executed in separate cities of Pakistan on Wednesday morning. According to details, a convict Ameer Hamza was hanged to death in Balochistan province’s Mach Jail while Sikandar was executed in Central Jail Bahawalpur. MUZAFFARABAD – The local administration of Azad Kashmir has banned four foreign television channels because of being dubbed in Hindi. Deputy Commissioner Officer Masoodur Rehman Muzaffarabad issued notification to ban National Geographic, Discovery, Pogo and Cartoon Network for three months. According to details, two death row convicts namely Tayyab and Jaffar were executed in Lahore and Sahiwal cities.
