Dozen dead in Bangladesh bus crash

DHAKA: As many as 24 people were dead while 22 people sustained injuries when a passenger bus hit trees and plunged into a ditch in southwestern Bangladesh. According to reports, the accident took place early Thursday in the Bhanga area of Faridpur district when the bus was travelling from Dhaka to the southern district of Barisal. Rescue teams rushed the spot and shifted the injured and the bodies to nearby hospitals. The cause of the accident wasn’t clear yet but passengers said the driver apparently lost control. It was not known yet if the driver was among the dead. Turkey has warned Google to remove the images of slain Turkish prosecutor who was held hostage last week or otherwise they will be banned Google. Two more death row convicts including ex army soldier executed in Pakistan Jails

ISLAMABAD: Two more death row convicts were executed in separate cities of Pakistan on Wednesday morning. According to details, a convict Ameer Hamza was hanged to death in Balochistan province’s Mach Jail while Sikandar was executed in Central Jail Bahawalpur. LAHORE: Two more death row convicts have been hanged in Punjab jails on Tuesday morning. According to details, two death row convicts namely Tayyab and Jaffar were executed in Lahore and Sahiwal cities. Tayyab was executed in Kot Lakhpat Jail of Lahore city while Jaffar was hanged in Sahiwal Central Jail over dual murder.
