Saudi barred Pakistani plane from entering airspace

RIYADH: Saudi authorities did not allow Pakistan plane carrying 240 passengers to the kingdom from entering airspace because the aircraft did not have prior permission. “The operator must file a request with the authority prior to flying, specifying the type of aircraft, registration … and other documents in order to ensure the safety of passengers and the airspace,” said the SPA report. The Saudi Public Authority for Civil Aviation’s spokesman, said the airplane should have obtained the permission in advance for the sake of the safety of its passengers. Militants attack in Turbat kills 20 labourers

TURBUT: As many as 20 labourers were killed while three sustained injuries when a group of militants attacked in Turbut.   Commissioner Makran division said that that the labourers were working at Sohrab dam. The dead bodies have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Turbat. Security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation. None of the militant group claimed the responsibility yet. SYDNEY: Australian cricket legend cricketer cum commentator Richie Benaud has died at the age of 84 due to skin cancer.
