Lahore Session court accepts petition to register gambling case against Moin Khan

LAHORE: Lahore Session court accepted the petition to register a gambling case against Chief Selector of Pakistan cricket team Moin Khan, TheNewsTribe.com report. According to TheNewsTribe.com correspondent, the court has sent the notification to Station House Officer (SHO) Islampura to give the answer in a weeks. In that petition, applicant stated that Moin Khan has destroyed the image of the team by gambling in the casino. Kabul rocked by blast near Iran Embassy

KABUL: A civilian was killed and another injured in a suicide blast at the main gate of Iranian embassy, local media reported on Thursday According to Afghan officials and police, a suicide bomber driving a car packed with explosives has targeted a vehicle of the Turkish embassy in the Afghan capital during the morning rush hour. PCB sends Rs 100m defamation notice to Imran Nazir

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has served Rs. 100 million defamation notice to Pakistan’s star test cricketer Imran Nazir. According to reports, the notice says that Imran Nazir had baselessly alleged Intikhab Alam of asking for commission from him for issuance on No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The notice has been sent by PCB through its lawyer Tafazzul Rizvi. US consulate temporarily closed in Lahore

LAHORE: United States (US) government said that two of its four missions in Pakistan were currently closed for consular services including Peshawar and in Lahore. According to reports, the US government issued the travel warning, the consulate in Lahore remains ‘temporarily closed’ for public services, six months after the mission had been closed for ‘renovations’ and its staff withdrawn due to terror threats.
