Special court all set to charge Musharraf in high treason case today

Islamabad: A special court today (Friday) is due to formally charge former military ruler Pervez Musharraf with high treason in a case that could carry the death penalty or life in prison.  Justice Faisal Arab of the Sindh High Court (SHC) will head the special court which will include Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) and Justice Yawar Ali of the Lahore High Court (LHC) as its members. The latest warrant was issued last week. It alleges that Musharraf violated the constitution by imposing emergency rule in November 2007. Samsung Galaxy S5 to be rolled out on Feb 24

  Highly anticipated next generation smartphone of tech giant Samsung, presumably the Galaxy S5, will be rolled out at the annual Mobile World Congress slated for later this month, South Korean media reports. The world’s top smartphone maker said Tuesday it will hold the “Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 1” event in Barcelona, Spain, on Feb. 24. BZU announces admission schedule of BA/B.Sc exams

MULTAN: Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has announced the admission schedule of BA/B.Sc annual exams 2014. The last date for submission of application form without late fee was Feb 04, 2014 and with double fee is Feb 14 while with triple fee candidates can submit the form and fee at least one week before the commencement of exams. The date for beginning of exams will be decided later. The fee for BA exams is Rs 2500 and BSc exam is 2700 and BA/BSc practical fee (per subject) is Rs 400.
